Marking the First OCX Overseas Expansion

Bangkok, June 13, 2024 – True Internet Data Center Co., Ltd. (“True IDC”), a leading full-service data center and cloud service provider in Thailand, and BBIX, Inc. (“BBIX”), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. and the fastest growing Internet Exchange (“IX”) service provider in Japan, announced a partnership agreement to utilize the Open Connectivity eXchange (“OCX”) in Thailand through BBIX (Thailand) Company Limited (“BBIX Thailand”), a joint venture between True IDC and BBIX.

OCX is a cloud-based network service developed jointly by BBIX and BBSakura Networks, Inc. (“BBSakura”), a network solutions provider and subsidiary of BBIX. OCX’s on-demand, highly secure, low latency and scalable connectivity services towards a variety of cloud services and data centers can be ordered by customers via a dedicated user portal.

True IDC, a leader in Thailand’s data center and cloud provider industry, boasts the largest power capacity in the region and Uptime Institute Tier III Gold certification, guaranteeing unparalleled reliability and performance for businesses of all sizes. This ensures the smooth operation of even the most demanding AI and hyperscale workloads. Meanwhile, the OCX service will also be extended to neighboring countries such as Singapore etc., starting with this collaboration as the first overseas expansion.
