Open Connectivity eXchange supports Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
BBIX, Inc. (“BBIX”), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (IX) business, and BBSakura Networks, Inc. (“BBSakura”), a network solutions provider and subsidiary of BBIX, will add Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (“OCI”) offered by Oracle Corporation as part of its cloud service lineup on “Cloud Connection” feature of Open Connectivity eXchange (“OCX”), a cloud-based network service, on June 29, 2023.
OCI is a next-generation cloud infrastructure platform that provides high performance, service availability, and high security. OCI has also been selected as a service provider for the “Gov-Cloud”, the common cloud infrastructure used by the Japanese government.
“Cloud Connection” is the virtual interface feature for establishing connections to cloud services via OCX. “Cloud Connection” provides a highly secure, low latency, and on-demand connection to cloud services, including OCI.
BBIX and BBSakura will continue to expand their services to help customers accelerate DX (Digital Transformation) and grow their businesses in the multi-cloud era.
