BBIX and ITOCHU Techno-Solutions collaborate in the area of data center connectivity
BBIX, Inc. (“BBIX”), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (IX) business, has signed a business partnership agreement with ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (“ITOCHU Techno-Solutions”) in the field of data center connectivity.
On its IX platform, BBIX offers Open Connectivity eXchange (“OCX”), a cloud-based network service that provides highly secure, low latency and scalable connectivity services to a variety of cloud services and data centers.
ITOCHU Techno-Solutions offers a wide range of IT solutions utilizing leading-edge technologies which are realized by its capabilities in discovering products and open system infrastructure construction technology, leveraging its strong alliances with leading-edge IT companies around the world. ITOCHU Techno-Solutions’s data center service is equipped with highly secure and reliable facilities as well as high-quality networks to ensure the stable operation of customers’ IT systems.
The combination of BBIX’s OCX, a cloud-based network service that provides highly secure, high quality and a wide variety of connectivity services, with ITOCHU Techno-Solutions’s IT solutions utilizing advanced technology, along with a long track record in the data center business, is expected to create new business value for customers and new business areas, as well as promote DX (Digital Transformation) for various companies, and enable regional DX throughout Japan.
BBIX, together with ITOCHU Techno-Solutions, will work to expand its services to help customers accelerate DX, create new businesses, and grow their existing businesses, thereby contributing to the realization of an affluent society full of dreams.
