BBIX adds “Oracle Cloud Infrastructure” to its “BBIX Multi-Cloud” service lineup

〜Adding “Oracle Cloud Infrastructure” to enable private connections with Oracle via Layer 2 IX service〜

BBIX, Inc. (“BBIX”), a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. that operates an Internet Exchange (IX) business, will add “Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (‘OCI’),” provided by Oracle Corporation (“Oracle”), to its “BBIX Multi-Cloud” service on November 7, 2022.

OCl is a next-generation cloud infrastructure platform that provides high performance, availability and security. Highly demanding on-premise “Oracle Database” systems can be moved to the cloud with confidence. By connecting to the OCI on BBIX’s high-quality peering platform, customers will have access to a highly secure, private cloud infrastructure platform.

BBIX will continue to expand its cloud service lineup and service area to provide customers with more optimal and stable business development opportunities.

■Overview of “BBIX Multi-Cloud” service

“BBIX Multi-Cloud” service is a service for customers who have subscribed to BBIX’s IX service to provide a direct connection to cloud service providers on the same port as the peering line. This service enables customers to connect to multiple cloud service providers via VLANs provided by BBIX on BBIX’s Layer 2 network.（Click here for more details）
