BBIX Launches “Internet Gateway” for “Open Connectivity eXchange” at Osaka Location
BBIX, Inc. (“BBIX”) will launch “Internet Gateway” in “Open Connectivity eXchange” (“OCX”), jointly developed with BBSakura Networks, Inc. at the Osaka location today.
“Internet Gateway” provides a closed network connection from the OCX network to the Internet with a Network Address Translation (NAT)* function.
*NAT is a technology that mutually converts private IP addresses and global IP addresses to connect to the Internet.
The availability of “Internet Gateway” at the Osaka location will enable low-latency Internet access in the western Japan area. It also allows flexible network design based on East-West area redundancy.
BBIX will continue to strive to provide more convenient services to support DX (Digital Transformation) and build network cloud infrastructure to support the communication environment in the multi-cloud era.
