BBIX Supports “400 Gbps Ethernet Interface” on its IX Service

BBIX, Inc. (“BBIX”) is pleased to announce that BBIX will support the “400 Gbps Ethernet Interface” on its “IX Connect Service” (“IX Service”) starting from April 2024.

Until now, “100 Gbps Ethernet Interface” has been the mainstream for IX service and bundled multiple 100 Gbps Ethernet ports were required to support above 100 Gbps traffic.

BBIX will start providing “400 Gbps Ethernet Interface” at “BBIX Tokyo No.5” connection site first. This allows customers not only to use wider bandwidth service but also to improve their operation and cost efficiency by consolidating multiple ports to one.

BBIX will continue to provide solutions that contribute to the development of the Internet and strive to improve the quality of its services.
