BBIX Launches Virtual Router Appliance for “Open Connectivity eXchange” at Osaka Location

BBIX, Inc. (“BBIX”) will launch “OCX-Router (v1)” in “Open Connectivity eXchange” (“OCX”), jointly developed with BBSakura Networks, Inc. at the Osaka Location today.

“OCX-Router(v1)” is a software-based virtual router appliance that provides IP routing on the OCX network. By using “OCX-Router(v1)”, customers can exchange traffic between cloud services or regions in the tenant network without having to go through their on-premise facilities.

Furthermore, the availability of the Osaka Location will enable a low-latency network configuration using “OCX-Router(v1)” in the Western Japan Area, as well as flexible network design based on East-West area redundancy.

BBIX will continue to strive to provide more convenient services to support DX (Digital Transformation) and build network cloud infrastructure to support the communication environment in the multi-cloud era.
